Today was the perfect lazy Saturday, spent in our new home. The weather was 72 degrees, which is positively balmy by normal January standards. It was warm enough to throw open the basement patio doors. Curled up barefoot on the couch, we drank tea and read books, taking in our breathtaking view of the Smoky Mountains. Heaven!
Hello! I’m Louise, the High-Heeled Physicist.
I’m British, but live and work in the USA. I have a gorgeous fiancé (my best friend and crush), Andy, who I already nickname “hubby”. I have a PhD in Nuclear Physics and a career that I adore in Nuclear Safeguards. Not bad going before the age of 30, but I like to keep life interesting… I have a passion for travel and photography, and also enjoy running outdoors. Organizing my closet is something of an ongoing hobby. Weekends, you can find me in a coffee shop; writing for work or trawling the internet for creative inspirations. I have recently taken up knitting and think Bikram yoga or Pilates might be a good idea someday. Interior design will probably become a hobby once we buy our dream home. Oh, and my life revolves around ticking items off to-do lists. I would be lost without my diary!
